On Saturday, May 19, 2018 the Forest Reciprocity Working Group (FRWG) visited 7 acreas on Hensley Creek Rd. in Ukiah California. The site formerly was a vineyard. It is a perpetual easement owned by the Metta Foundation who have made it available for us to use. We plan to bring small diameter douglas fir poles that have been thinned and graded from surrounding forests to the site. There we will peel the bark and use them to build a great variety of structures. We have questions about the well water and soil. One thing we all agreed on was that we need the services of quite a few hungry goats to eat and help eliminate the seriously scarey overgrowth of poison oak. More about this site to come.
